Romania and the Transylvanian Mountains

Acres Wild Woodlands is working to establish a base in the beautiful and unspoilt area of the Transylvanian mountains of Romania.

Acres Wild Woodlands will be working in cooperation with Low Impact Living Transylvania and together we intend to develop community reforestation initiatives and to support and strengthen traditional land management practices with the local people in this beautiful part of Romania. We will also be offering environmental courses and developing small scale low-impact eco tourism holidays which will support rural livelihoods.
